Installing LOCFIT C version, Windows 95, 98, NT e.t.c.

1. Download the self-extracting zip file.
2. Depending on your browser set-up, this file may automatically run when downloaded, or be saved to a directory such as C:\temp. If it was saved, find the file and run it by double-clicking.
3. You should see the WinZip self-extractor dialog displayed. Select an `Unzip to' folder (the default is C:\program files\locfit) and click the Unzip button.
4. In `My Computer', go to the folder you've extracted to (that is, C:\program files\locfit by default). There should be five folders and files: LFData, LFinit.cmd, locfit.ceg, locfit.exe and readme.txt. To run locfit, click on the locfit.exe file.
5. To create a desktop shortcut, simply drag the locfit.exe icon to the desktop.
