clarify a few magic values, minor performance tuning and add support
for jumbo frames.  suprisingly, jumbo performance is okay heavy
standard frame traffic bogs the chip down.  4k aoe frames are 10x
faster than standard aoe frames.  this is likely a problem with the
driver.
